A lot of research has been conducted on Peptides over the last 20 years - many new Peptides and applications have been developed in order to deal with multiple problem areas associated with advanced cosmeceutical anti-ageing skin care products.

Research on Peptides has now accumulated effective data on the cosmeceutical peptides which Kalonology utilise within our formulations. In this instance we focus on Hexapeptide-11 which specifically works against intrinsic and extrinsic aging of the skin - boosting collagen production. 

Hexapeptide-11 specifically is very well researched and has attracted many clinical studies with proven efficacy with controlled in vivo studies.

Hexapeptide-11 A forms part of the Peptide family which is able to trigger a signalling cascade - being released from the extracellular matrix, they are also called collagen stimulators. 

Benefits include a reduction in pigmentation of photo-damaged skin, fine lines and wrinkles are reduced and a regeneration of the skin matrix cells is also observed. Skin elasticity increases, and skin appears smoother and firmer, supporting collagen production. 

Hexapeptide-11 (Sequence: Phe-Val-Ala-Pro-Phe-Pro) was originally isolated from Saccharomyces yeast fermentation, but Kalonology's Pro Age Marine Collagen Boost Night Cream uses the latest version which is more effective and sustainably manufactured - the ingredient is natural and entirely safe for topical application. 

Hexapeptide-11 is a Cosmeceutical ingredient which supports collagen production and is clinically proven through multiple placebo controlled studies (including our own) to be a highly effective addition to our Pro Age Marine Collagen Boost Night Cream formulation.
